Specialized Care for Disabled Dogs | Adaptive San Diego Pet Support

San Diego dog walker for disabled dogs

Compassionate, Experienced Care for San Diego’s Special Needs Pups | Balboa to the Bay Dog Walking LLC

Every dog deserves to enjoy the fresh San Diego air, regardless of their physical challenges. My Adaptive Care Sessions are specifically designed for dogs with mobility impairments, neurological conditions, blindness, or limb differences. I provide the physical support and compassionate patience required to help your “differently-abled” pup enjoy their day safely and comfortably. Perfect for mobility impaired dog care, paralyzed dog care, handicapped dogs, dogs in wheel chairs in San Diego.

  • Adaptive Equipment Expertise: I am proficient in the use of various mobility aids, including full-body harnessesdog wheelchairs (carts), and rear-end slings. I ensure all equipment is fitted correctly and used safely to prevent sores or strain.
  • Physical Assistance & Lifting: Whether your dog is “down” and needs help with repositioning or requires a “tow” for a short walk, I am trained in safe lifting techniques to protect the dog’s spine.
  • Mental Enrichment Over Distance: If a traditional walk isn’t possible, we focus on “sensory sessions”—bringing the world to them through porch time, scent games, and focused companionship to prevent “cabin fever.”
