Restorative Care That Respects Your Service Dog’s Training | Dog Walking for San Diego’s Service Dogs

I recognize that a service dog is more than a companion—they are an essential partner and a medical necessity. My Service Dog Maintenance Visits are designed to support San Diego’s working teams by providing these high-level athletes with the decompression and physical maintenance they need to perform their best. I respect your dog’s training, follow your specific protocols, and ensure their “off-duty” time is safe and restorative.

  • Strict Adherence to Training: We maintain your dog’s specific “on-duty” vs. “off-duty” cues. Whether they are a guide dog, a medical alert dog, or a mobility assistant, I ensure no “bad habits” are formed during their exercise time.
  • Physical Conditioning & Decompression: Working dogs carry a heavy mental load. Our sessions focus on “free-running” in safe areas or structured sniffing walks that allow for mental decompression and peak physical conditioning.
  • Task Reinforcement: At your request, I can incorporate basic task reinforcement or obedience maintenance during our sessions to keep your dog’s skills sharp while you are unavailable.
  • Public Access Protocol Awareness: I am educated on the ADA and California-specific service dog laws. I understand the importance of your dog’s public image and behave with the utmost professionalism in the San Diego community.

I respect your team’s privacy regarding all medical needs.
